Q: How many
people does the vehicle hold?
A: Engine One can hold 6 passengers comfortably 7 at a bit of a squeeze, Engine
II can carry 5 passengers comfortably 6 at a bit of a squeeze. We do ask that
when we have children on board, they are accompanied by at least 1 responsible
adult.
Q: Can you
put the blue lights and siren on?
A: Unfortunately not. Due to road traffic regulations and insurance purposes,
we cannot have the light or sirens on.
Q: How can
I pay?
A: You can pay by either cash or cheque. If you pay by cheque, please note that
we require the cheque 7 working days before the booking to allow it time to
clear.
Q: Do you
require a deposit?
A: We require full payment in advance of your booking. 50% of the amount is
a NON-REFUNDABLE deposit.
Q: I have been on the Big Red Hire Engine and would like to post some feedback, how do i do this?
A: All customer feedback is appreciated positive or negative, so that we can
offer the best possible customer service. Your comments can be posted on our feedback page, which is accessable from our menu bar. When you are on our feedback page click on 'Sign Guestbook' you will then need to fill in your name, country and email address (if you want to) also enter the code that you can see then you can leave your feedback in the main box. When you have finished just click send to post your feedback to our guest book.
Q: How do
I go about booking you?
A: You can use our booking line phone numbers located on the contacts page.
When you call, one of the crew will guide you through the booking process and
answer any queries you may have.
Q: Why is
a return journey not twice as expensive as a 1-way trip?
A: Because our crew don’t travel back to Great Yarmouth after we have
dropped you off, we save on diesel costs (9 litre engines are expensive to run!)
& we only feel it fair to pass this saving on to our customers.
