The flagship of the company is Engine I, it is a Dennis SS135 Water Tender Ladder. Born in 1987 and manufactured by John Dennis Coachbuilders she was first registered by Humberside Fire & Rescue Service on 1st August 1987, boasting an awesome 8832cc V8 turbo charged engine manufactured by Perkins.

Having served her time for the front line fire service she was retired in 2001 to a munitions testing company in Lincolnshire where she spent nearly 4 years in the care of a private fire crew.

In September of 2004 she was then put up for sale at a total cost of £3,700. Our company then purchased her and by November of that year she was brought out of retirement and given a new lease of life having been totally refurbished to a cost of over £7,000.

The latest addition, having joined the company on 18th May 2007, is Engine II, a little over a year younger than her sister, Engine I, but holding exactly the same ‘vital statistics’, and also having descended from the same origins. Engine II was purchased in early 2006 and has cost over £10,000 to transform into a ‘state of the art’ luxury limousine.

Engine I can take up to 7 passengers & contains a top of the range sound system, 15" LCD television, a Sony Playstation 2, DVD player, CD / MP3 Jukebox & mood lighting for your enjoyment.

Engine II is slightly smaller & has been designed to carry 5 passengers comfortably (6 at a bit of a squeeze!); inside again there is mood lighting, a slightly bigger 27” LCD television, DVD Home cinema system & CD player.

Take a look at some of the pictures in our gallery of Engines I & II, there are photos of both vehicles before and after the extensive refurbishments we gave them.
